John Douglas Moore

John Douglas Moore, 74, of Grayson, went to be with his Lord on Friday, March 8, 2024 at Trinity Station in Flatwoods. Doug was born August 2, 1949 in Ironton, OH, a son of the late Henry Clay Moore and Betty Craycraft Moore. Doug began his career with Mussetters before starting Jr. Food Mart’s for many years throughout the southeastern states. He was a member of Gregoryville Christian Church, a Kentucky Colonel, recipient of the Keystone and Business Person of the Year by Grayson Chamber of Commerce, graduate of Morehead State University and on the board of FIVCO Development. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Kaye Fite Moore; daughter, Brittani and Tommy Roe of Grayson; brother, Dale (Becky) Moore of Lexington, KY; grandsons, Levi Dingee, Easton Dingee and Carson Roe.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, 11:00 a.m. at Malone Funeral Home with Bro. Ron Arnett and Bro. Chris Bellew, ministers. Burial will be in East Carter County Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. on Monday. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be, Tommy Roe, Jeff Fite, Chis Fite, Brian Fite, Darren Fite, Brandon Fite, Levi Dingee, Easton Dingee and Carson Roe; honorary pallbearers, Bill Burns, Tally Harris, Johnny Brown, Larry Sparks, Kenny Brammell, Larry Jarvis and David Webb.
