Kathirene "Kack" Marshall

Kathirene “Kack” Marshall, 85, of Rush went to be with her Lord on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. Kathirene was born December 30, 1933in Rush, KY, a daughter of the late Naamon and Sadie Marie Fannin Marshall. In addition to her parents Kathirene was preceded in death by a brother Carl Russell Marshall; a sister in-law, Glenna Dickens Marshall; and a nephew, James “J.R.” Marshall, Jr.

Kathirene was an excellent cook and was known for her wonderful corn bread, peanut butter and chocolate fudge. Kathirene always enjoyed her dogs especially her fur baby “Odie”.

Kathirene is survived by one brother, James Mitchell (Francis) Marshall of Flatwoods KY; and numerous nieces and nephews who she cared for as her own children.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 pm Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Clell Lucas officiating. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Wednesday until the service hour at the funeral home. Condolences can be sent to the Marshall family at www.malonefuneralhome.com.
