L.Q. Marshall 83, of Webbville went to be with his Lord on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. L.Q. was born March 14, 1935 in Carter County, KY a son of the late Austin and Sarah Pennington Marshall. He was a retired boilermaker with Local #105 in Piketon, OH and a member of Cherokee Freewill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jettie Jo Thomas Marshall in 2010; stepdaughter, Bernadine Roar; one brother, Delmas Marshall; two sisters, Evadean Jarvis and Lillian Mae Marshall. His survivors include; five sisters, Lorraine Sparks of Webbville, Lucille Withrow of Grayson, Mary Kay Welch of Lexington, Bonnie Scaggs of Blaine and Wanda Sue Cordle of Ashland; two brothers, Ray Marshall and Ronnie Marshall both of Grayson; one stepson, Thomas Gollihue.
Services will be conducted Tuesday, 1:00 p.m. at Malone Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Sparks, Bro. David Boggs and Bro. Joe Marshall, ministers. Burial will be in the East Carter County Memory Gardens.
