Malinda Jane Sewell

Malinda Jane Sewell, 93 of Grayson went to be with her Lord on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Carter Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Grayson. Malinda was born October 1, 1925 in Hazard, KY a daughter of the late Stewart “S.U.” and Jessie Dickinson Pratt. She was a member of the Bagby Memorial United Methodist Church, retired Deputy Carter County Court Clerk also working at Carter Caves State Park. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dudley Buren Sewell after 45 years of marriage. She is survived by one son, John (Carol) Sewell of Grayson; daughter, Jane Bradford of Lexington; two grandchildren, Jennifer (Ben) Fields of Charleston, WV and Doran (Anne) Bradford of Lexington, KY; three great-grandchildren, Andrew Bradford and Ethan Bradford both of Lexington, KY and Alex Fields of Charleston, WV.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 2, 1:00 p.m. at Bagby Memorial United Methodist Church with Bro. Scot Hoecksema, minister. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
