Marguerite Smith Hoef

Marguerite Smith Hoef, of Abilene TX formerly of Grayson went to be with her Lord on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Radford Hill Nursing Home.  She was born December 30, 1938 in Grayson a daughter of the late Harmer and Virginia Claxon Smith.  She was preceded in death by; one sister, Patricia Hoef; one brother, Carl Smith.  She is survived by her husband, Raymond Hoef of Abilene TX; a son, Robert (Erika) Gilbert of El Paso, TX; one brother, Bob (Betty) Smith of Flatwoods; one sister, Donna (Ed) Sue Handy; granddaughter, Julia Francesca Gilbert; one step-daugther, Devra (Bob) LeFevre of TX; one step-son, John Hoef of TX.  Funeral service will be 1 pm Thursday March 1, 2018 at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Johnny Riley officiating.  Burial will follow in the Smith-Claxon Cemetery.  Visitation will be 11 am Thursday until the service hour.  Condolences may be sent to the family at www.malonefuneralhome.com
