Mark S. ''Harpo'' McDavid

Mark Stuart “Harpo” McDavid, Sr., 72 of Willard, KY went to be with his Lord on Friday, April 23, 2021 at the residence of his brother. Harpo was born December 2, 1948 in Grayson, a son of the late Joseph Isaiah and Merlia Stuart McDavid. He was a retired from Boilermaker’s Local #105 Piketon, OH and a member of Willard American Legion Post 342. Preceding him in death was two brothers, Phillip J. McDavid and Larry “Gismo” McDavid. Harpo’s survivors include two sons, Matthew (Regina) McDavid of Boyd County and Mark (Leigh-Ann) McDavid, Jr. of Grayson; two sisters, Peggy (Charles) Jo Baker of Carlisle, OH and Melody (Doug) Shawn Nolty of Grayson; one brother, Daniel “Tucker” (Melinda) McDavid of Willard, KY; three grandchildren, Connor Bishop, Casandra Hutchinson and Jalen Holbrook; one great-granddaughter, McKinley Bishop.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Malone Funeral Home with Denver Prater, minister. Burial will be in the McDavid Family Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Family suggests contributions to Community Hospice, 1420 Carter Ave., Ashland KY 41101.
