Mary Louise McGlone

Mary Louise McGlone, 82 of Carter City, KY went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at her residence. Louise was born July 4, 1936 at Iron Hill, KY a daughter of the late Hubert and Audrey Carroll Burnett. She retired from Carter Elementary as an aide and also she worked at the Cowden Factory in Olive Hill. She was of Christian faith and was a member of the Carter Christian Church. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Clyde, Robert and Paul Burnett; one sister, Pauline Burnett. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Bruce McGone; one son, Rick (Sherry) McGlone of Grayson; one daughter, Teresa (Doug) Menix of Grayson; three sisters, Lillie Ryder of South Vienna OH, Hazel Messer of Olive Hill and Garnett (Lowell) Messer of Grayson; two brothers, Jack Burnett of Grayson and Richard (Anna Mae) of Iron Hill; four grandchildren, Eric (Leslie) Menix, Shanna (Mark) Coleman, Mark (Shelly) Menix and Brooke (Matt) Holley; fourteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, 2:00 p.m. at Malone Funeral Home with Mike Burnett and Tim Messer, ministers. Burial will be in the Horsely Cemetery.
