Mary Faye Sweeney

Mary Faye Haney Sweeney, 89 of Stanford, KY formerly of Gregoryville went to be with her Lord on Monday, July 13, 2020 at Stanford Care and Rehab. Mary Faye was born September 24, 1930 in Grayson, a daughter of the late Hobert J. and Myrtle Burchett Haney. She was preceded in death by her husband Henderson (Tom) Sweeney; daughter, Janet Sweeney Swett; two brothers, Hayden Haney and Carl Ray Haney; one sister, Thelma Prichard. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Jo Sweeney of Gregoryville, KY; three grandchildren, Melissa Swett, Craig Johnson and Donnie Mosier; one great-granddaughter, Gracie Swett; Ronnie James who she thought of as a son; son-in-law, Bob Swett; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be Saturday 3:00 p.m. at East Carter County Memory Gardens with Tim Prichard, speaking. Visitation will be Saturday, 2:00 – 2:45 p.m. at Malone Funeral Home. Please leave a condolence or your favorite memory of Mary Faye at www.malonefuneralhome.com.
