Michael R. Isaacs

Michael R. Isaacs, 72, of Grayson went to be with his Lord Wednesday September 1, 2021 at the Wurtland Nursing and Rehab Center in Greenup. Michael was born August 5, 1949 in Springfield, Ohio a son of the late, Richard M. and Minnie L. Rice Isaacs. In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 46 years, Virginia Ruth Sparks Isaacs in 2016; and a sister, Cynthia Isaacs. Mike was a Christian. Mike worked as a tree trimmer with Bartletts Tree Experts, and worked as a farmer having raised cattle and tobacco. Mike is survived by two brothers, Stephen Isaacs and Keith (Karen) Isaacs both of Grayson; a special sister in-law and caregiver, Geneva Carroll LaValley who took great care of Mike; and a host of extended family and friends who all mourn his passing. Funeral services will be 2 pm Monday, September 6, 2021 at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Bro. David Stephens officiating. Burial will follow in the Rice Family Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 am Monday until the service hour.
