Michael David Richardson

Michael David Richardson, 69, of Grayson went to be with his Lord Friday March 15, 2019 at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland. Mike was born March 12, 1950 in Charlottesville, VA a son of the late Clarence Walter, Sr. and Maggie Dudley Richardson. In addition to his parents Mike was preceded in death by a daughter, Diana Sylva; his first wife, Darlene Richardson; and a brother, Lindsay Richardson.
Mike was a US Navy Veteran who served his country honorably. Mike retired from GE-OEC Medical Systems, and enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with family.
Mike is survived by his loving wife, Mary Helen Greise Richardson; two daughters, Nicole (Brian) McDowell of Grayson and Lindsay (Casey) Zachman of Colorado; a step-daughter, Summer (Robert) Murray of WV; two step-sons, Ben Bucy and Lucas (Marcella LaPerle) Bucy both of Maryland; numerous grand and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Therese (Eric) Houser of Virginia and Mary (Ben) Chilcutt of Colorado; and a brother, Clarence Walter Richardson, Jr. of Virginia; and several nieces, nephews and extended family who all mourn his passing.
The family has chosen cremation with a memorial service at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East with Military Honors to be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson. Condolences can be sent to the Richardson family at www.malonefuneralhome.com
