Miranda Yates

Miranda Gollihue Yates, 38, of Denton, KY went to be with her lord on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at the Kings Daughters Medical Center following a short illness. She was born August 19, 1981 in Huntington, WV a daughter of the late Randy and Deborah Pennington Gollihue. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Jeremy Gollihue. Miranda was a teacher’s aide at Heritage Elementary School and was a member of the Maranatha Bible Church. She was a loving wife and mother. Her survivors include: her husband of 18 years, Patrick Yates; her son, Randy Allen Yates at home; one brother, Randall (Ashley) Gollihue of Grayson; sister-in-law, Stephanie Yates of Grayson; brother-in-law, Travis (Rebecca) Yates of Grayson; four nieces, Lilly Gollihue, Sydnee Yates, Whitnee Yates and Bayleigh Ratcliff. The funeral service for Miranda will be conducted on Friday, July 3, 2020 at 12 noon at the Marantha Bible Church with Jesse Fyffe and Steve Owen, officiating. Interment will be in the Marantha Bible Church Cemetery.
