Molly Jean Hall

Molly Jean Steele Hall, 76, of Grayson went to be with her Lord Thursday April 7, 2022 peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family.  Molly was born July 2, 1945 in Carter County, KY a daughter of the late, Normal Steele and Missouri Jewell Newland Steele Blair.  In addition to her parents, Molly was preceded in death by her beloved husband in 2008, Gary Edward Hall; her husband of three years, Frank Wallace in 2020; and a sister, Patty Albright.

Molly graduated from Hitchins High School and furthered her education at Eastern Kentucky University.  Molly retired as a bookkeeper with Kimbleton-Hampton in Ashland.  Molly was a member of Wolf Creek Baptist Church; and a member of W.M.U. (Women’s Missionary Union).  Molly enjoyed golfing, reading and traveling.   

Molly is survived by a daughter, Leigh Suzanne Hall of Columbia, SC; a son, Brian (Sherry C. Keneson-Hall) Hall of Reston, VA; two grandsons, Alexander Hall and Dylan Hall; two grand fur babies, Gino Bear and Connor Reilly; two brothers, Ralph (Joanna) Steele, Normal Junior (Dana Hall) Steele; a sister, Nancy (Ernie) Haney all of Grayson; and a host of friends and extended family who all mourn her passing. 

Funeral services will be 11 am Wednesday April 13, 2022 at the Malone Funeral Home with Bro. George Steele officiating.  Burial will follow in the East Carter County Memory Gardens.  Visitation will be 6-8 pm Tuesday and after 9 am Wednesday until the service hour.  Condolences may be sent to the family at www.malonefuneralhome.com
