Myrtle Frances McGuire

On Monday, December 14, 2020, Myrtle McGuire, 85, passed away in her home surrounded by her loving family. Myrtle was a native of Ashland Kentucky, born to Esther Leader and Floyd Coomer. Myrtle gave birth to seven children. Myrtle enjoyed gardening, canning and needlepointing. However Myrtles greatest passion and accomplishment was her family. She loved each of them equally and whole heartedly. Myrtles large family consisted of 7 children, 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 5 great great-grandchildren. Myrtle created 5 generations of women consisting of herself, Barbara Caudill, Nikki McCormick, Leah Boyles and Lovelynn Boyles. Myrtle was preceded in death by her two daughters, Peggy Edmonds and Debra Hayes. She is survived by her 5 children, Barbara Caudill, Linda Hodge, Allen Jean Pennington Jr., Harlan Edward Pennington and Glenna Hale. Funeral Services will be held Monday December 21st at Malone Funeral Home in Grayson Ky. Visitation will be 2-3 pm with a graveside service following with Bro. Delmar Rogers officiating at East Carter County Memorial Gardens.
