Opal Messer

Opal Messer 92, of Grayson went to be with her Lord, Tuesday February 16, 2021 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. Opal was born January 3, 1929 in Carter City, a daughter of the late Morton and Pearle Justice Messer. She was a member of the Carter Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Carper and Erie Wilburn; one brother, Bruce Messer. Opal is survived by two sisters, Flora Jordan of Carter and Leatha Carper of Iron Hill; and a host of nieces and nephews who will miss her.
Funeral services will be Wednesday 11:00 a.m. at Malone Funeral Home with Bro. Lowell Messer, officiating. Burial will be in the Horsley Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Malone Funeral Home and after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday.
