Paul Raymond Harlow, Sr.

Paul Raymond Harlow, Sr., 80, of Grayson passed away Friday, July 29, 2017 at the Community Hospice Care Canter in Ashland.  Raymond was born April 7, 1937 in Iron Hill, KY a son of the late Jep “Jeff” and Maggie Flake Harlow.  Raymond worked for Ford Motor Company, drove coal trucks, ran a second hand retail business, built cabins on the Little Sandy river, worked for Kroger as a meat cutter, supervisor and as a traveling carpenter.  Raymond enjoyed hunting and fishing; and was a great man with a giving heart.  Including his parents Raymond was preceded in death by a son, Paul R. Harlow, Jr.; six brothers, Harvey Harlow, David Harlow, Sr., Ernest Harlow, Bill Harlow, John Harlow and Albert Harlow; six sisters, Nemo Harlow, Beulah Shear, Eulah Glass, Essie James, Violet Hall and Carrie Cecil.  Raymond is survived by a daughter, Teresa Yates of Titusville, FL; two granddaughters, Jennifer Kremer of Ormond Beach, FL. And Cheyenne Harlow of Pikeville, KY; one grandson, Ryan Yates of Titusville, FL.; a great-granddaughter, Stella Kremer; of Ormond Beach FL, three sisters, Letha Allen of St. Cloud, FL, Betty Ross of South Point, OH, and Stella Clark of Ashland; along with many nieces and nephews who all mourn his passing.  A graveside service will be 1 PM Saturday August 12, 2017 at the Kiser-McGinnis on Tygart Creek in Carter County, KY with Chauncey Griffith officiating.  Condolences may be sent to the Harlow Family at www.malonefuneralhome.com
