Peggy Ruth O’Dell Caudill, 82, of Hitchins, KY went to join her Lord on Monday, May 30, 2022. She was born in Sciotoville, OH the daughter of Ralph and Vade Milum O’Dell. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie “Hoppy” and Shelia Caudill, one grandson, Dustin Keith Caudill, one brother, Ronald O’Dell; three sisters, Connie O’Dell, Glenda Ewing and Barb McGlothin; and two of her closest friends, Pat Bailey and Gertie Hill. Peggy is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, John Arlon Caudill of Hitchins; a son, John (Gail) Caudill of Carter City, KY; one daughter, Lynn (Jim) Fuchs of Grayson, KY; three grandsons, Bo, Jessie and Garth Caudill all of Hitchins; two granddaughters, LaKeisha Wagoner of Marion, OH and Savannah Curtis of Wilder, KY; one brother, Todd (Pat) O’Dell of Deleware, OH; one sister, Corky Johnson of Mt. Gilead, OH; one precious longtime friend, Myrtle Suttles of Morehead, KY; a special caregiver, Emilee McDowell of Olive Hill, KY and eight precious great-grandchildren, along with a host of friends and family left to miss her. Peggy was of the Christian faith and spent many years singing in churches. She recorded two albums and one single to praise the Lord the best way she knew. The funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Malone Funeral Home with Ron Johnson and Keith Hill, officiating. The interment will be in the Robin Run Cemetery.
