Ray Marshall, 83 of Grayson went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at Hospice Care Center in Ashland. Ray was born May 12, 1938, in Webbville, KY a son of the late Austin and Sarah Pennington Marshall. Ray was a boilermaker, Local #105 in Piketon, OH, a member and one of the founders of Grayson Free Will Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his twin sister, Lillian Mae Marshall, sister, Evadean Jarvis, brothers, L.Q. Marshall and Delmas Marshall. Ray is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Kay Prichard Marshall, sons, Greg Marshall and Gerald Marshall both of Grayson, daughter, Gwenie Marshall McGlone of Grayson, sisters, Lorraine Sparks of Webbville, Lucille Withrow of Grayson, Mary Kay Welch of Lexington, KY, Bonnie Skaggs of Martha and Wanda Sue Cordle of Webbville, brother, Ronnie Marshall of Grayson, grandson, Travis RaVaughn Marshall of Ashland, special friends, Susie Ramsey, Mike and Karen Douglas.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, 11:00 a.m. at Grayson Free Will Baptist Church with Bro. Gary Sparks and Bro. David Boggs, ministers. Burial will be in East Carter County Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at Malone Funeral Home, and after 9:00 a.m. Thursday at the church until funeral service.
