Rebecca June Stevens Godwin

Rebecca June Stevens Godwin, 61, of Gallipolis, OH went to be with her Lord on Friday, February 12, 2021 at the Henry Ford Allegiance Health Center in Jackson, Michigan. Rebecca was born July 15, 1959 in Columbus, OH, a daughter of Bonnie Louise Rucker, the late John “Jake” or “J.C.” C. Stevens, Sr. In addition to her father Rebecca was preceded in death by her Stepmother Melba Stevens, and the “Love of her Life” Johnny Ray Williams.
Rebecca worked as a waitress and was adored by her faithful Patrons. Rebecca loved to sew and was an amazing cook. She will be most remembered for her sweet spirit, giving heart, and endless Love for her Family. Rebecca’s favorite thing in life was to be with her family.
Rebecca is survived by her children, Cherry Williams (James) of Jackson, MI, Johnnie Lynn Williams of Gallipolis, Oh, Austin Godwin of Gallipolis, Oh, Andrew (Samantha) Godwin of Gallipolis, Oh; 11 grandchildren; four brothers, Jerry (Doris) Stevens of Fredricktown, OH, Garry (Dianna) Stevens of Edison, OH, John, Jr. (Donna) Stevens of Gallipolis, OH and Daniel Ray (Wilma) Stevens of Webbville, KY; two sisters, Vesta Louise (Brian) Daniel of Marengo, OH and Betty Jo (Rick) Rawlins of South Webster, OH; and several nieces, nephews and extended family who all mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be 1 pm Saturday February 27, 2021 at Malone Funeral Home with Bill Rucker and Garry Stevens, officiating. Burial will follow in the Stevens Family Cemetery in Webbville, Ky.
