Richard Allen Swim

Richard Allen Swim, 57 of Ashland, KY went to be with his Lord on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital following a sudden illness. Richard was born February 21, 1962 in Ashland, KY a son of the late John Edward and Mary Louise Fraley Swim. He was a member of First Assembly of God in Ashland and worked for Swim Brothers Construction. He was preceded in death by a brother Robert Swim. He is survived by his wife, Montena Stephenson Swim of Ashland; three sons, Tyler Gilbert of Ashland, Adam Cordle of Ironton, OH and Aaron McCoy of Olive Hill, KY; one daughter, Tiffany Worrell of Catlettsburg, KY; two brothers, David Swim of Ashland and Jim Swim of Raceland; seven grandchildren.
Services will be conducted Wednesday, 12:00 p.m. at First Assembly of God with Bro. Charles Sheilds and Bro. Ron Fultz. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church. Family suggests contributions to: First Assembly of God, 525 Blackburn Ave., Ashland KY 41101.
