Rocky Dale Slone

Rocky Dale Slone, 48, of Carter City passed away Wednesday October 16, 2019 at his residence. Rocky was born September 14, 1971 in Sandy Hook, KY a son of Nettie Kathryn Barker (George) Marshall and the late Carl Eugene Slone. In addition to his father Rocky was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronnie Slone and James “Jim” Slone; and a sister, Patty Mollette.
Rocky was a former operator with Mountain Materials and had a strong work-ethic. Rocky’s love was spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Rocky is survived by his wife, Oretha Faye Henry Slone; two daughters, Ellen Henry and Emily Slone; three sons, Cody Smith, Bradley Smith and Adam Slone; two grandchildren, Hunter Kiser and Waylon Henry; two sisters, Sue Hopson and Kathie (Don) McClelland; four brothers, Frank (Mary) Slone, Danny Slone, Billy Joe (Pepper) Slone, Kevin (Andrea) Slone; and a host of extended friends and family who all mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be 1 pm Monday October 21, 2019 at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson. Burial will follow in the Pleas Holbrook Cemetery in Johnson County, KY.
