Roma Gayle Miller Hay

Roma Gayle Miller Hay, 72, of Grayson went to be with her Lord Thursday, September 5, 2019 at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland. Roma was born December 17, 1946 in Grayson, KY a daughter of the late Roy Ellis and Maxine Johnson Miller. In addition to her parents, her beloved husband of 47 years in 2015, Elmo C. Hay; and her daughter, Ginger Leigh Smith, preceded Roma in death.
Roma was a member of Grayson Free Will Baptist Church. Roma retired from the Boyd County Vocational School working as an accountant, and worked as an accountant for Jack Ruth Construction.
Roma is survived by a grandson, Brady “Buck” Smith of NC; three brothers, Roger (Linda) Miller, Dallas Miller and James (Theresa) Miller all of Grayson; and several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends and family who all mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be 1 pm Monday September 9, 2019 at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Rob Baier officiating. Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East.
