Ronald Jay Burnett

Ronald Jay Burnett, 68, of Catlettsburg went to be with his Lord on Thursday July 18, 2019 at his residence. Ronald was born April 22, 1951 in Ashland, KY a son of the late Calvin Coolidge and Bessie Mae Burnett. In addition to his parents, Ronald was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 29 years, Linda Sue Pinkerton Burnett.
Ronald is survived by two children, his son Shane (Candy) Burnett of Catlettsburg and a daughter Ronda Watkins of New York, a sister, Rita (John) Goebel of Grayson, KY; two brothers, Calvin Ray (Vicki) Burnett of Tijeras, New Mexico and Richard Darrell “Rick” (Lynn) Burnett of Lost Creek, KY, six grandchildren; Cody, Shayna, Riley, Joey, James and Gwen; and one great grandchild, Sage and many other family members and friends who will all mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be held on Monday July 22, 2019 at 11 am, at the Malone Funeral Home with Pat Bowling and Jason McGlone officiating. Burial will follow in the Cribbs Hill Cemetery.
