Ronald Eugene''Gene'' Crum Sr.

Ronald Eugene “Gene” Crum, Sr., 81, of Grayson went to be with his Lord Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at the UK Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. Gene was born February 15, 1943 in Ashland, KY a son of the late, Hubert Crum and Elsie Blevins Keeney. In addition to his parents, Gene was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Rita Whitaker and a sister, Rosetta Jackson. Gene retired from AK Steel having worked from 1966-1996 as a general supervisor. Gene’s passion was working on old muscle cars especially Pontiacs. Gene enjoyed fishing and spending time with family. Gene is survived by a son, Ron (Marie) E. Crum, Jr. of Grayson; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of friends and extended family who all mourn his passing. Funeral services will be 2 pm Sunday, March 17, 2024 at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Bro. Darren Blevins officiating. Burial will follow in the Blevins-Leadingham Cemetery.
