Rosa Pauline Conley Kouns

Rosa Pauline Conley Kouns, 77, of Grayson passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at the St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington. Pauline was born March 30, 1942 in Carter County, KY a daughter of the late, Edward and Edna Wilburn Conley. In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 49 years in 2011, Delmar Kouns; and her grandparents who raised her, Charlie and Sophie Wilburn.
Pauline was a homemaker and attended Stinson Church of Christ. Pauline always had a kind word for everyone. Pauline enjoyed listening to country music and watching the Hallmark channel. Pauline’s greatest love was her family whom she was very devoted.
Pauline is survived by seven sons, Delmar R. (Melissa) Kouns, Bud Wesley (Micca) Kouns, Arnold Lee (Missy) Kouns all of Grayson, Edward Dwight (Angie) Kouns of Olive Hill, Bobby Gene Kouns, William Kyle (Kim) Kouns both of Grayson; and Jason Earl (Chuck) Kouns of Southside, WV; six daughters, Cheri (Clayton) Kouns, Loretta Paula (Greg) Reynolds, Linda Gail (Mike) Gee, Barbara Kay (Randy) Seagraves, Carol Faye (Billy) Baker and Madonna (Mark) Skaggs all of Grayson; 27 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; a cousin who was raised like a sister to Pauline, Shirley Marie Martin; and a host of friends and extended family who will all miss her passing.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 pm Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Malone Funeral Home with Keith Sergent officiating. Burial will follow in the Kouns Family Cemetery on Smith Branch.
