Shirley Ann Ryan

Shirley Ann Ryan, 84, of Grayson went to be with her Lord Sunday, May 26, 2019 at the Oakmont Manor in Flatwoods. Shirley was born December 2, 1934 in Bristol, Connecticut a daughter of the late Edward Herbert and Blanch Geraldine Picard Ryan. In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Ann Ramey; a sister, Geraldine Ryan Carto; and a brother, Edward Ryan.
Shirley was a member of the First Church of Christ in Grayson where she loved to play the piano and sing in the Choir. Shirley worked retail at K-Mart, the sewing factory in Olive Hill and was a Certified Nurse’s Assistant. Shirley cherished her time living and making friends at the Friendship House. Shirley enjoyed crocheting and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Shirley is survived by a daughter, Karen Ramey (Tim) Gambill of Flatwoods; three grandchildren, Robert Kyle Parker, Cameron Ray (Rosalee) Parker and Justin Michael Stephens; three great-grandchildren, Landon Ray Parker, Avonlea Rose Parker, Adelae Layce Parker; a sister, Barbara Ryan Grimaldi of Bristol, Conn; a brother, James (Rose) Ryan of Florida; and a host of friends and extended family who all mourn her passing.
Graveside services will be 1 pm Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at the Everman Cemetery off the AA with Bro. Delmar Rogers officiating. Condolences may be sent to the Ryan family at www.malonefuneralhome.com
