Vicky Annebelle Rucker

Vicky Annebelle Salyers Rucker, 70 of Rush, KY, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. Vicky was born September 11, 1951 in Ashland, KY, a daughter of the late Paul “Pod” and Betty Hutchinson Salyers. She owned and operated Vicky’s Beauty Shop in Rush and was a member of Coalton First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a sister, Rita Kirk and a daughter in law, Misty Jackson Rucker. Vicky is survived by her husband of 53 years, Daniel Rucker; two sons, Danny Lynn (Lana) Rucker of Vanceburg, KY and Adam Wesley (Missy) Rucker of Russell, KY; two brothers, Charlie Salyers and Paul “Butch” Salyers both of Rush, KY; four grandchildren, Austin, Kirby, Aden and Briar and soon to be great-grandson.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, November 2, 11:00 a.m. at Coalton First Baptist Church with Paul Holbrook and Danny Brown, ministers. Burial will be in Coalton Community Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at Coalton First Baptist Church and after 9:00 a.m. Tuesday. Pall bearers will be Danny Rucker, Adam Rucker, Austin Rucker, Aden Rucker, Thomas Salyers and Michael Newell.
