Walter “Clinton” Phillips, 76, of Grahn, KY passed away on Friday, July 9, 2021 at the King’s Daughters Medical Center. Walter was born on November 18, 1944 in Grahn. He was the son of the late Walter and Arminta James Phillips. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Virginia “Jenny” Kees Phillips; and many brothers and sisters. He retired from Grayson RECC where he was a lineman. He enjoyed buying storage buildings and going to auctions. Walter is survived by his wife of 12 years, Wilma Miller Phillips; one son, Louie (Wendi) Phillips of Union, KY; stepdaughters, Robin (Brent) Bledsoe of Grayson, KY, Kimberly Avery of Wellston, OH and Tamara Parker of Chillicothe, OH; stepsons, Bryan Kees of Grayson and Anthony Parker of Waverly, OH; thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He will be loved and missed by all. The funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery. The visitation will be held Wednesday after 11:00 a.m. until the service at the funeral home. Serving as pall bearers will be Tom Fite, Louie Phillips, Tim Cooper, Owen Phillips, Gary Sexton and Ben Phillips. Condolences can be made to the Phillips family at www.malonefuneralhome.com
