William Jeffery Sparks

William Jeffery Sparks, 53 of Grayson died Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY. William was born July 14, 1968 in El Paso, TX, a son of Nancy Bowser Sparks of Grayson and the late General Sherman Sparks. He was a farmer and this past summer had opened Wolfe Creek Pay Lake. He was preceded in death by his brother in law, Charlie Salyers, Jr. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Christy Salyers Sparks; two sons, Jeffrey Tyler (Taylor) Sparks-Wick, Marysville, OH and William Cole (Makenzie) Sparks of Denton; two daughters, Ashley Nicole (Randall) Gollihue of Grayson and Dakota Skye (Gary) Cramer of Olive Hill, KY; three sisters, Teresa Lynn (Patrick) Tolliver of Denton, Kelly J. (Melvin) Howard of Grayson and Bertha Jean (Stacy) Fyffe of Grayson; two brothers, Sherman Richard (Danielle) Sparks of Grayson and Elijah Lee Drake Runyon Sparks of Grayson; five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted, 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 4, at Malone Funeral Home with Bro. Kenny Hall. Burial will be in the Sparks Family Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until service time. To leave a condolence for the family go to www.malonefuneralhome.com.
