Monte Hale

Monte Hale, 55, of Grayson passed away Wednesday February 8, 2017 at the Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. Monte was born February 11, 1961 in Ashland, KY a son of James Robert Hale and the late Reavel Mae Damron Hale. Including his mother Monte was preceded in death by a brother in-law, Timothy Felty.
Monte was a carpenter; loved watching T.V., listening to music, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Monte is survived by his companion, Sandra Welder; a son, Erik Hale of Grayson; a daughter, Monica (Kenny) Craig of Grayson; a step-son, Kyle (Emily) Welder of Ashland; a step-daughter, Jessica (Jonathan) Welder of Ashland; two sisters, Helen Felty of Grayson and Sally (Randy) Atkins of Sandy Hook; one grandchild, Hailey Young, two step-grandchildren, Elijah Welder and Wesley Gipson; and several nieces, nephews, friends and extended family who all mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be 1 pm Monday February 13th 2017 at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Bobby Bond and Delmar Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in the Damron Family Cemetery.
