Cody Aaron Burnett

Cody Aaron Burnett, 25, passed away Thursday, June 12 due to injuries received from a motorcycle accident in Carter County.  Cody was born September 11, 1988 in Dayton Ohio, son of Roger Anthony Burnett and Paula Jene Halcom Burnett. He was preceded by a brother, Brandon Michael Burnett and his maternal grandmother, Joyce Brown.
Cody had a true passion for the outdoors, loved doing mechanical work and spending time with family and friends.  
Including his parents Cody is survived by three brothers, K.J. Dillon of Dayton, OH. , Koolen Burnett of Flatwoods and Dillon Hawk of Dayton, OH.; two sisters, Tiffany Burnett of Flatwoods and Samantha Nelson of Dayton, OH.; his paternal grandparents, Bobby Lee and Sharon K. Burnett of Grayson; maternal grandfather, Paul Brown of Trotwood, OH.; his girlfriend, Brandy Rupert of Grayson; two nieces and several extended family and friends.
Funeral Service will be 1 p.m., Monday, June 16th at the Malone Funeral Home with Josh Nunley officiating.  Burial will follow in the Cribbs Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be 11am Monday until the time of service.  Condolences may be sent to the Burnett Family at www.malonefuneral home.com
