Connie Sue Sexton

Connie Sue Sexton, 68, of Grayson, KY went to be with her Lord on Monday, June 12, 2017 at the Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY. Connie was born April 1, 1949 in Carter County, KY a daughter of the late Sanford and Hazel Cassell Pennington. She worked for Carter County Health Department, attended the 13th Street Baptist Church and was a member of the Carter County Homemakers and Backyard Bloomers. In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by a brother, Jess Pennington and a sister, Almeda Jane Pennington. Her survivors include: a son, Brent (April) Sexton of Grayson; a daughter, Rebecca (Lauren) Crum of Grayson; two sisters, Judy Heaberlin and Nancy Porter both of Grayson; four grandchildren, Owen Crum, Cadee Crum, Abigal Sexton and Cole Sexton. Funeral services for Connie will be conducted on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 11:00am at the Malone Funeral Home with Bill Parker, officiating. Interment will be in the Pennington Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 14, from 6-9pm and Thursday after 9am until service time at Malone Funeral Home.
