Roy James Ellenberg

Roy James Ellenberg, 87 of Ironton, OH went to be with his Lord on Saturday, March 11, 2017 after a sudden illness. Roy was born November 1, 1929 in Rush a son of the late Millard A. and Mabel Bates Ellenberg. He was retired from U.S. Steel in Lorain, OH. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Juanita Lewis Ellenberg; two sisters, Vivian Maxine Ellenberg and Bessie Alice Hall; two brothers, Joseph Edward Ellenberg and Verlin Ray Ellenberg. His survivors include two sisters, Carolyn (Junior) Poling of Grayson and Helen (Teddy) Thornberry of Rush; two brothers, Robert (Ann) Ellenberg and Harold (Carolyn) Ellenberg both of Ashland KY; two sisters-in-law, Donna Ellenberg of Ashland and Louise Ellenberg of ID.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, 1:00 p.m. at the Malone Funeral Home with Rick Porter, minister. Burial will be in the East Carter County Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 6:00 p.m. -9:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday till service. Family suggests contributions to:21st Street Tabernacle, P.O.
