To the Gemeinhart Family; I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. G. was a wonderful teacher-hardest one I ever had but made me learn. Loved going to see his train collection, especially when he had it put up in his living room at Christmas time.

I will miss seeing him at KCU events. Praying for the entire family.

Our prayers are with Mr. G's family. He was a humble servant of the Lord. My memory of him in class was" intense"

. He had a job to do and he was going to try his best to get it done. His "who, what, where, when, and the significance of it" taught me to be thorough in life. He didn't feel this way but he was a great man. Mr.G 's memory will be carried in the hearts of so many.
One last memory. I hadn't been back to KCC for several years after graduation. I walked down the hall and Mr. G was teaching class. He saw me and laid down the chalk and walked hurriedly toward me. He then gave one of the best hugs I have ever received. We all loved Mr. G and I look forward to another hug, what a grand day that will be.

There are so many things I remember about being a student and friend of this great man that it would take forever to tell them all. He was a great influence on me. I especially loved it when he and Ruth surprised me by visiting Mission Services (in Indiana) after I started working there. I had never heard of MSA until I was in his classes. He will be missed but he has his reward now. Love to the family!

Hardest class I ever had in my life was with Mr G but he pushed me to learn about the important things in life. Had the blessing of hanging out at their house. He was an amazing man with an incredible thirst for knowledge. I'm a better man for knowing him.

I will so miss Mr. G and Missions class. He opened my eyes to the world as we should see it. Also the love that he and Mrs. G shared is a memory I will always hold dear.

I remember meeting Mr. G during a summer visit to my family there at Grayson, but it was in class that I remember him most fondly. It seemed like all my classmates were frightened of him and his notorious quizzes, but somehow I relished these and his final exams. He was always fair as a teacher, and though had high expectations I found him to be a joy in class.

Then in chapel I seemed to always have an assigned seat close to Tom, Ruth and Bradley (then a pre-schooler). It was always good to talk with them and see them worshipping with us. Of course I knew Ken and Alma, but only after adulthood did I really get to know them. The three children all exhibited characteristics of Tom and Ruth - kind, loving, life-giving, and generous.

I will remember seeing Tom on campus when I returned as a professor and he treated me kindly and as one of the faculty, though I only taught one class a year. Through Tom I learned how to communicate passion for what I was teaching. Through Tom I enhanced my love for missions, and even now recall many lessons as I work on the global outreach team at Southland.

Thanks be to God for the gift of Mr. G. We who knew him are all blessed, and though we mourn his death, will fondly remember his life.

Mr. Gemeinhart was my professor of History of Restoration in the late 90s and he also taught my dad when he was a student in the 70s. It was very cool to share a teacher. I remember Mr. Gemeinhart always being around for basketball games and participating in the school plays. I worked with Mrs. Gemeinhart in the library and they both were precious people. I pray for the family as they mourn the loss of Mr. G here but they can rejoice in the knowledge of him in heaven.

My condolences to you on your loss. I happened across the announcement of Mr. Gemeinhart's passing on Facebook. My parents -- Bill and Lenna Mae Nicholson lived next door to you all in about 1956 at KCC in the old Army barracks. I was surprised to remember Mrs. Ruth's name when I read the Facebook post. You all made quite an impression on a four-year-old little girl.

Tom had a heart for the church, and enthusiasm for Biblical leadership. Thankful. Grace and Peace Tom, we will see you in a little while for the big party day.
